We work with so many great vendors at weddings. Great wedding vendors really make all the difference at a wedding. It is really important to hire a vendor that you are comfortable with and to always make sure you love the work that they do. One of the vendors we love is Carla from Enchanting Blooms. She is an amazing florist and is great to work with. She did the flowers for my wedding in 2012. They were perfect!
We asked Carla a few questions about herself and her business. Her answers are below. If you are looking for a florist for your special day contact Carla. You will be happy you did!

Questions and Answer Session with Carla:
1. How long have you been in the floral business?
“Off and on for 20 years. I have been working out of my home as Enchanting Blooms for 7 years.”
2. What made you want to become a florist?
“I have loved flowers as long as I can remember. I grew up in central Ohio with parents who were avid gardeners. I joined the horticulture 4H club in Junior High and competed in the local garden club and county fair single stem specimen and arrangement competitions.”
3. What is your favorite part about being a florist?
“I love flowers! I love my clients. I love meeting with them, getting to know them and understanding their personal aesthetic & vision. Then I love putting together something unique and special for them.”
4. What is your favorite part about a wedding?
“For me my favorite part is when we are about to finish set-up and I can see everything coming together and the environment that it creates.”
5. What inspires you? (in regards to being a florist and finding creativity)
“I get inspiration everywhere. I love looking at the Style Me Pretty blog posts. I regularly go to flee markets and antique stores. I also love going to specialty nurseries like Roger’s Gardens in Newport beach.”
6. What is your favorite venue?
“Pala Mesa Resort is one of my favorites. I love the reception tent and the beautiful grounds. I also like Temecula Creek Inn. The Stone House is a vintage, historical setting unlike any other in this area.”
7. What type of flowers did you have at your wedding?
“My wedding was 30 years ago! I loved my bouquet, My husband went to the florist and ordered it himself! (It used to be proper etiquette for the groom to purchase the bride’s bouquet.) It had 2 dozen white roses and 5 Stargazer Lilies. Of course I would not choose those particular flowers today!”
“My dream wedding flowers would be shades of Blush and Pale Peach Garden Roses and Peonies.”
